Helping people finish and publish their books is one of the most fun careers I’ve ever had. Yet for years, with all the clients I had and all the fantastic books we published, I never made a bestseller.
One day, I was watching this cheesy webinar with a loud, phony, arrogant presenter, promising bestseller status—guaranteed! All you have to do is pay $4000 to attend his event, be one of 100 students, and buy everyone else’s books while they all buy yours. That way, everyone becomes a bestseller! (At least for an hour.)
Watching this guy’s pitch, I got mad. If he could take a bunch of randos off the street and make them all bestsellers, why were none of my books bestsellers?
I realized that if he could guarantee bestseller status to every one of his clients, there had to be a system for making it happen—and people with good books could use it, too. I set out to find that system.
Project Bestseller is my quest to make bestsellers—and, more importantly, long-sellers.
When I started Project Bestseller, my personal goal was to increase my income from book royalties and e-product sales to $6,000/month (enough to cover my business and personal expenses). That was in 2018, and at the time, it seemed like an impossible dream. Now I’m living it!
