You’ve written your book. Now, how do you sell it?
If you’re like me, you’re a bit of an idealist. You have a big vision for your book. You poured your heart and soul into writing it. You’ve done everything you can to make it as good as it can possibly be. Now you’re ready for it to start touching lives.
You can probably think of half a dozen books that have become part of the grain of your life, because they gave you exactly what you needed at the time—whether it was a feeling, an experience, a different perspective, or just the information you needed to unlock your next possibility.
That’s what we all want, isn’t it? That’s why we write: We want to impact readers. And sometimes it’s the simplest books that are the most powerful.
A great book is a gift to the world and a slice of immortality. Whether it’s a vicarious experience in the form of a novel, or exactly the information your readers need to make their lives better, your words have the potential to become part of your readers and live on inside them.
But writing is only the first step. Once you’ve written the book, you still need to get it into readers’ hands. Most writers have no idea how to do this. I’ve certainly been there. I was the quintessential writer and dreamer who fully expected my books to take off, just because they were good. Oh yeah, and Amazon is magical. What more could I need? :^\
If you’re ready to learn how to make your books sell, you’re in the right place. (If you’d rather hire someone to do it, I can help you with that, too!) Read on for the story of Project Bestseller and why I’m so fired up about this.
